Most printer cartridges can be recycled, refilled or reloaded. Recycling is a another huge growth industry. Here are a few good reasons to recycle printer cartridges:
  • More than 3.4 litres (3/4 gallon) of oil are needed to make one new laser cartridge .
  • In just 12 months, cartridge recycling could save 4.3 million litres of oil in a country of 22 million people
  • Laser printer cartridges account for over 90% of all throw-away cartridges
  • A laser cartridge thrown into landfill can take up to 450 years to decompose

The catridges are used the printers for printing. They are two types,
  1. Ink Catridges
  2. Toner Catridges
Ink Catridges

Uesd with Inkjet Printers such as Deskjet,Officejet and photosmart.

Toner Catridges

Used with Laser printers such as Laserjet.
